Enter your total bill before tip, choose a tip percentage, and specify how many people are splitting. The calculator divides the total (bill + tip) equally among everyone.
The standard formula: (Bill × (1 + Tip%)) ÷ Number of People = Each Person’s Share

💡 Splitting Tips

⚠️ Common Pitfalls
Watch out for automatic gratuity already added to large party bills — you don’t want to double-tip. Check your receipt before calculating additional tip.
If someone ordered significantly more or less, consider splitting by item instead of evenly. This calculator assumes equal splits.
