Screen Size Calculator
Calculate exact screen dimensions from diagonal size and aspect ratio
Enter Diagonal Size
Input your screen’s diagonal measurement in inches. This is the standard way monitors and TVs are measured – from one corner to the opposite corner.
Select Aspect Ratio
Choose your display’s aspect ratio. 16:9 is standard for most monitors and TVs. 21:9 is ultrawide, and 32:9 is super ultrawide for immersive gaming.

Diagonal Measurement
Screen size is measured diagonally from corner to corner. A 27" 16:9 monitor is actually 23.5″ wide and 13.2″ tall.
Aspect Ratio Impact
Same diagonal, different ratios mean different dimensions. A 34″ ultrawide (21:9) is wider but shorter than a 34″ standard (16:9).
Screen Area
Ultrawide monitors have less total area than standard monitors of the same diagonal. A 34″ 21:9 has similar area to a 27″ 16:9.
Desk Planning
Knowing exact dimensions helps plan your setup. Consider monitor arm reach, desk depth, and viewing distance for ergonomic placement.
